Zenobia JoAnn Jacobs departed this life on Thursday morning, May 15, 2025, at home. She was born June 12, 1960, in Wilmington NC to Chester and Tempie Farley who proceeded her in death. She received her education in New Hanover Public Schools. JoAnn, as she was affectionately called by family, met and married Mr. Rick Jacobs who stood by her side in sickness and in health, they were married for 31 years. JoAnn was a kind lady who loved and enjoyed family. She always found something to laugh about. When her health allowed her to, she enjoyed watching and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked for several years as a custodian for CMC Maintenance Company. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, she will be dearly missed. JoAnn lived life to the fullest, she leaves to cherish, honor and mourn her precious memories; four children, Ann, Edward, Malika, and Mildred; one sister Mildred Corbett of the city; one son-in-law; one brother-in-law (deceased); 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grand, 3 nephews, several cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
