Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 23, 2025, at New Light Pentecostal Bible Ministry, 1119 Brooklyn Street, Navassa, NC.  Burial will follow in the Mears Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Valoria Gail Andrews Mosley, born on February 4, 1952, to the late Mary E. Hall and James Fogle, passed away peacefully at her home on March 13, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Affectionately known as "Gail," she was a kind, caring, and generous soul who loved to spread joy and laughter.  Gail had a special way of giving affectionate nicknames to those she loved, and her sense of humor brought warmth to everyone around her.  She found great pleasure in simple things like sipping on an ice-cold Pepsi, enjoying hot fried chicken, and savoring chocolate cake.  Music by Lee Williams, Madea movies, and game shows were some of her favorite pastimes. Gail gave her heart to Christ at a young age while attending Mt. Calvary AME Church.  She received her education in the Brunswick County School System.  Throughout her life, Gail worked as a housekeeper at various hotels in the Wilmington area.  Above all, she cherished her role as a loving caregiver, often staying at home to take care of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her beloved husband of 52 years Ernest Mosley, Jr. of the home, children: Elmer Mosley, Navassa, NC; Valorie Mosley, Hamden, CT; Ernest Mosley (Temicia), Winnabow, NC, her precious grandchildren: Daniell, Darnell, EJ, Brandan, Tyrek, Shakiya, Shatabea and Jaylen, her great grandchildren: Aubree, Emanie, Zayden, Zaymar and Jaiden, her sisters: Reather Davis (Bishop Alonza Davis), Dorothy White and Gwendolyn Andrews, special nieces: Minister Sonya Joyner (Bishop Eric Joyner) and Nekesha Benjamin (Vasion), special cousins: Sylvia and Diane Andrews, Anthony, Poinsettia and Pamela Willis, special brother-in-law, Michael Mosley, three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
