On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, God, and his omniscient wisdom called our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and best friend, TyShaun Delts home. TyShaun was born weighing two pounds and eight ounces on June 19, 1996, to Dr. Tracion Flood and Keith Delts of Wilmington, North Carolina. He was named by his brother Tra'Quan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Destani Traci-Anna Davis. Tyshaun was a very respectful child and was not afraid to express his true feelings about anything. He chose to face life's challenges head on and did so on his own terms and no other way. He briefly attended E. A. Laney High school and was a member of St. Phillip AME Church. He believed in Jesus Christ, and he did not mind asking questions about God. TyShaun was very family-oriented, he took on the leadership role of an uncle to his younger cousins, and to those he truly loved. TyShaun always had a passion for music that ran deep through his veins. It was his water cup (meaning it kept him in "HIS" space). Music told his story. Music was his way of communicating, and he would speak every day, ALLL day long. TyShaun's smile was infectious in that he would light up a room when he walked in. His favorite food was Macaroni and Cheese. TyShaun had a special relationship with his grandparents, Harvie and Juanita Jacobs, who raised him and taught him to trust God. TyShaun had a relationship with his mother many did not understand, he was the Oil to her water and their love will throughout eternity. TyShaun leaves to cherish his memories a loving (Mother) Dr. Tracion Flood, (Father) Keith D. Delts; paternal grandparents, Alfred Delts and Cheryl Delts; maternal grandparents; Harvie and Juanita Jacobs; great paternal grandparents, John and Mildred Jacobs; Special uncle; Freddie Davis; Three aunts; Angela and Pamela Davis, and Carolyn Daniels (Foster); Siblings; Tra'Quan Flood Keith Bress, Deandre, Deasia, Deroeshea, and Harlan Delts; Shakieal Davis, TyRika Wilson, and Quanisha Pope. A host of loving cousins, the family relatives, and friends; Shaheem Teachy, and Dareese Porter.
