Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at John H. Shaw's Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery, Leland, NC.  Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, one hour prior to the service.  Timothy Ray Kennedy born to Maxine Tyson Kennedy McDuffie was born on Sunday, July 14, 1968.  In God's plan he was a grantef to be on this earth until July 26, 2023, and then he would be taken home.  He departed this life at the home of his mother, surrounded by nothing but love.  Timothy was educated at the New Hanover County School.  He attended The Julliard School, in Manhattan, NY, also attending the Montage School of Mine.  Timothy started theatre at an early age, with the guidance of Nathan Freeman, Joyce Grear, Lloyd Madafo Wilson, and Francine Decoursey.  Timothy leaves Mother Maxine Tyson Kennedy McDuffie, Kannapolis, NC, sisters; Calesta Jacqueline Kennedy, Brinston (Michael) Charlotte, nephews; Rishene Tyson (Maria) of Atlanta, Lamar of Charlotte, Antwon of Wilmington, Onyx of Charlotte, nieces; Aurora and Mia of Charlotte, aunts; Mary McKay of Leland, Bertha Jones, Eloise Clayton of Wilmington, Helen Elberbee of Rockingham.  Timothy met his brothers, Derrick Avery Kennedy, and Lee Vander Kennedy, at the heavenly gates, along with his grandparents, many uncles, relatives, and friends..
