Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
Timicka Simon-Bordeaux, daughter of Mr. Carlton Georges, Jr. and Mrs. Vanessa Hines, was born on June 25, 1971, in Manhattan, New York. She was raised by her grandmother, Mrs. Rosa Simon. She departed this life on April 13, 2026. Timicka attended PS 113 Elementary School, Wadleigh Secondary School for the Performing & Visual Arts Junior High School, and Louis D. Brandeis High School. She furthered her education in Computer Software by attending Miller Motte College, and she also studied Laboratory Technician skills at Coastal Carolina Community College. She married Demetrius Bordeaux and traveled extensively. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends, Spartan athletic challenges and CrossFit. Timicka, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, and cousin, loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Ida Georges, Rosa Simon and Willie Simon, Sr.; her brother-in-law, Torrence "Tony" Slappy; and her aunt and uncles, Barbara "Mikki" Greene, Willie "Red Boy" Simon, Jr., Eric "Eppi" Simon, Mark "Spooky" Simon, Sr., and Gregory Simon. Timicka leaves to cherish very fond memories: her husband, Demetrius "Keith" Bordeaux; her children, Davon Simon, Sr. ( Ursula), Demetrius Bordeaux, Jr. ( Cheyenne), Keishon Bordeaux, and Keeara Jones; eleven loving grandchildren; her parents, Mr. Carlton Georges, Jr., (Lisa McGraw), and Mrs. Vanessa Hines (Jerome Hines); her siblings, Alliyah McGraw, Carlton "Chico" Georges, Ill (Venettia), Sonya Brezler, Darian Hines, and Zaire Hines; her in-laws, William Bordeaux, Jr. (Rosalind) and Elvira Slappy; a host of aunts and uncles; special family and friends, Monique Simon, Mark (Munchie) Simon, Jr., January Elliot and Glenda Joseph; a host of other relatives and many friends.
