On Saturday, July 9, 2022, Thomas "Tommy" Henry gained his wings to enter before Our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, at ECU Health Facility in Duplin County, Kenansville, North Carolina. Tommy was born on May 14, 1942, in Wilmington, North Carolina, to the late Mr. Randolph and Winnie Henry. He received his formal education in the New Hanover County School. Upon leaving school, he entered the United States Navy. Tommy was self-employed as a Landscaper and Handyman. He loved communicating and helping the residents in the city. His largest clientele was retired educators. It is a blessing to know the presence of Jesus, and in Tommy's final days, he felt that feeling of care from Our Lord and Savior. With a feeling of forgiveness, Tommy was at peace, even though he was experiencing physical discomfort. He will forever be remembered by his son Anthony Henry of the city; a caring and dedicated brother Richard Henry (Angela) of the city; sister-in-law, Emily Henry of Baltimore, Maryland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by nine siblings, one brother-in-law; Monico Miller, one sister-in-law; Jean Wright. Brothers; Charles Wright, Joseph "Jody" Henry, Edward Henry, Randolph "Bondew" Henry Jr., Nathaniel "Thin Man" Henry, sisters; Marjorie Henry, Earline Henry, Vivian Miller, and Cynthia Henry.
