Sherry Daniel Robinson passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was deeply cherished by all who knew and loved her. Sherry attended Lakeside High School and later earned her high school diploma from Penn Foster University. She was known for her radiant smile that could brighten any room she entered. Throughout her life, Sherry worked at numerous restaurants in the Wilmington, NC area, where she shared her warm spirit and made lasting connections. She had a deep love for playing bingo and found immense joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored. In fact, Sherry so, so, so loved her grandchildren; they were the light of her life. Sherry's playful and joyful spirit was a gift to all, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with them, often playing special games like hide-and-seek and tag. Her big smile and playful energy filled every room, leaving behind unforgettable memories of laughter and love. Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine "Cookie" Everette; her grandmother, Annie Mae White; and two aunts, Georgia Bracy and Anna (Herbert) Singleton. She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, James Robinson; her four children; sons Daquan Daniels and Demetrius Daniels, both of Wilmington, NC, and daughters Crystal Daniels of Savannah, GA, and Tanayha Vandiver of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by three aunts; Mary (the late "Colee") Bradley, Julia (Champ) Bealon, and Ernestine (the late "Harry") Bealon; and four sisters: Lanita Daniels, Tiffany Daniels, and Laquanta Daniels of Wilmington, NC, and Latasha Daniels of Miami, FL. Sherry adored her grandchildren: Alami Daniels, Amore Daniels, Tyrie Grant, and Kyrie Grant. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. She was blessed with an extended family who held a special place in her heart, including her godparents, Jenny and Charles Caldwell; chosen sisters Renee Williams and Shameka Gardner; and chosen brothers Roy Gardner, C.J. Caldwell, Tyre Caldwell, Michael Henry, and Ruel Brown. Beloved niece and nephews also include Jvardah Williams, Jakicey Gardner, Laci Johnson, Jassiah Gardner, Paisley Gardner, Ace Brooks, Kacesyn Davis, and Madasyn Baker. Sherry's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, warmth, joy, and strength will never be forgotten.
