Funeral service will be 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Shaw Funeral Home.  Visitation is from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Sheila Jackson Hansley was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on August 20, 1973 to Barbara Ann Jackson and the late Allen Reddon, Jr.  She departed this life on October 29, 2023. Sheila, affectionately known to many as "Tuggie", was educated in the New Hanover County School System, graduating from New Hanover High School.  Sheila married Lionell Hansley on December 20, 2001.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  Most of all she was a loving and devoted grandmother to all ten of her grandchildren, Dae-Tron, Pae'ton, Jah'myos, Zay'den, Laila, Alayah, Jah'marri, A'Nylah, Mahogany and M'Yani.  She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 22 years, Lionell Hansley of Wilmington, NC; four children, Nicole Allen and Tiphany Batts both of Wilmington, NC, Shakara McDuffie of Jacksonville, NC,  and La'Shauna Hansley of Wilmington, NC; one brother, Carlton Jackson of Wilmington, NC; three sisters, Teresa Jackson, Amy Pollock (Peanut) and Shakela Jackson all of Wilmington, NC; stepfather, Mr. Anthony Lee Davis; one uncle, Jessie Hines, Jr. (Easter Bell) of Wilmington, NC; one aunt, Bert Reddon; one special niece, Tamar Rhames; two nephews, Anthony and CeCe both of Wilmington, NC; a great-niece, Saige; and a host of cousins in Wilmington, NC and Florence, SC.  Sheila "Tuggie", you may be gone but you will never be forgotten.  You left a lot of great memories with us.  No one could ever wear a hair bonnet like you and a leg cast!!!
