Funeral service will be 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 2:30 on Saturday, prior to the service.

Roger Martin Bouldin, Jr. was born to the late Roger and Christine Bouldin in New York, New York on March 15, 1961. He died February 13, 2023, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center after a short illness. From his early days as a high school linebacker, "Skeet" was a diehard New York Giants fan. He was also passionate about food and enjoyed sharing his culinary gifts with his family. Roger worshipped at Gateway to Heaven Christian Fellowship of Wilmington, North Carolina and served the ministry in several capacities. Roger was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin who will be greatly missed. Roger was preceded in death by three sisters, Joan Bouldin, Brenda Bouldin, and Joe Marie Clark. He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Roger Lamar Bolden, III (Kenya); nine grandchildren; J'vien, Xavior, Lamaya, Justin, Jayla, Kayden, Kai, Elijah, and Tristan Bouldin; one sister, Laurie Bouldin, of Wilmington; two brothers, Darvin Greene of Decatur, GA and Shawn Greene of Raleigh, NC; stepmother, Peggy Greene of Wilmington, NC; nieces, Nichole Curry of New York, NY, Charlene Green of Atlanta, GA, and Jasmin Beatty (Dennis) of Wilmington, NC; other relatives, church members and friends including a lifelong friend, Grady Jackson.
