Our world became a little less bright with the passing of Roderick Hall, a devoted partner, father and friend. Born on January 17, 1960, in Wilmington, NC to Annie Louise Hall and James Williams, he was one of seven children. Roderick was a God-fearing man. Throughout his childhood he attended New Testament Church. Roderic was a graduate of New Hanover High School. While attending New Hanover he was a part of the wrestling and football team. Roderick was blessed with a loving family life; he was dedicated to his beloved Thomasina Wallace for 45+ years. From this union, they produced three beautiful, wonderful children. Sharod Ladrelle of Wilmington, NC, Shaqwedia Montrelle of Louisville, KY, and Rashod Wallace of Charlotte, NC- they also have a grandson London Michael of Wilmington, NC, who was the light of Roderick's life. Roderick was a simple man's man. He was a man of very few words, but when he spoke, his words made a lasting impression. He was an extremely hard worker; he worked at S&G Prestress for 25 years as a Supervisor of the Concrete Finishing Crew. Upon the closing of S&G Prestress, Roderick continued his work journey at Precast Coastal System, holding the same position for five years. Roderick is preceded in death by his parents Annie Louise Hall and James Williams, one sister Collete Hall and three of his brothers Calvin, Alvin and Curtis Hall. He leaves behind an abundance of love and will be deeply missed by his one and only Thomasina Wallace, his sons Sharod Ladrelle, Rashod Natron and Antonio Thomas, his daughter Shaqwedia Montrelle, grandson London Michael, siblings; sister Edith and two brothers Ernest and Stanley Hall.
