Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. from Warner Temple AME Zion Church.  Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2024, at the funeral home at 6:00 P.M.

Robert "Trick" Louis Nixon Jr. was born on November 3,1964, in Wilmington North Carolina to the late Robert Louis Nixon Sr. and Doris Elizabeth Davis Nixon. He departed this life on November 28, 2024.  Robert was educated in the New Hanover County School System, graduating from Emsley A. Laney High School in 1983.  He worked as a welder and a carpenter for several years. He also worked at Bluewater Waterfront Grill, Wrightsville Beach North Carolina.  He was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.  Robert was a people person; he loved to spend time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the Gentleman's Club of Wilmington.  He leaves to his cherished memory his wife Pamela Waddell Nixon, his children Marcus (Sharain), Ebony (Venice), Chris (Di'Nesha) and Quin (Charles). Grandchildren, Kameron, Chosen, Kaison, Carter, Jasiah, Deonna. Brother; Frederich V. Nixon (Arielle) Aunts; Sheila James, Sandra Lee Davis, Frances Alston (husband Steve) Dana Hill, Danita Hill, Greta Hill, Queen Esther Ransom, Patrica Nixon, Barbara Nixon, Nazalee Nixon. Great Aunt Nannie Mapson. Nephews; Dandrell and Frederich Nixon.  Mother-in-law Mildred Tisdale (Freddie).  Sister-in-law Angela Thomas (Kent). Brother-in-law Hubert l. Waddell Jr.  Best friend Ron Hill.  A special group of friends at the Shugah Shak, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
