Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at New Beginning Christian Church; 3120 Alex Trask Drive, Castle Hayne, NC 28429.  Burial will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery, Leland, NC. Visitation will be at 3:30 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Peggy Ann Scott Springer, daughter of the late Eloise King Scott and Jessie James Skinner was born September 30, 1958, in Coco, Florida.  She departed this life on August 10, 2024. Peggy attended New Hanover High School and Cape Fear Community College where she received her Cosmetology license and worked in Cosmetology as long as her health permitted.  She lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger.  Peggy was a Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, in-law, and friend. She was a physical and mental caregiver to everyone she met.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her son Omar, her granddaughter, Niesha Troy and a special friend, Betty Dekine. Peggy leaves to cherish her fondest memories: her children, Gary Moore (Tiffany), Charles Springer, III and Saterria Springer; Christopher Parker who she cherished as a son; Grandchildren, Passion Springer, Amir Springer, Karyyah Springer, Ayla Lacewell, Aaliyah Lacewell, Qudir Norah, Ya'Nisa Norah, Ahyan Springer, Takera Troy, Jade Moore, TyQuell Mccomic, Kloei Kellam and Quadriyyah Geggins; brothers, Billy Scott, Leon Scott and Jessie Skinner; a special daughter-in-law, Sabrina Troy; a host of other relatives and many friends too numerous to name.
