A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Shaw Funeral Home.

Noel Edwards was born on January 21, 1982.  She passed away on July 19, 2024.  A proud graduate of E.A. Laney High School.  Noel was a beloved mother, sister, and friend.  She leaves behind her most precious gift, her daughter, Domineer Edwards, born on Christmas Day in Wilmington, NC.  Noel is also survived by her brother, Donovan Edwards of Wilmington, NC.  She was preceded in death by her mother Pretha Edwards.  Her memory will be cherished by her four aunts, Wanda Jones, Sandra Brown of Wilmington, NC, Regina Edwards of Charlotte, NC and Debra Edwards of Lumberton, NC.  Additionally, she is survived by three uncles, Larry Edwards, Terry (Duke) Edwards of Wilmington, NC, and Wayne Edwards of Atlanta, GA.  Noel's legacy will continue through a host of cousins and all who knew and loved her.  A special friend to the family, Bob Berry, who was like a stepfather to Noel, will also remember her fondly.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
