Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Nashawn Antonio Junious, son of Carolyn Junious and the late George Davis, Jr. was born on June 3, 1985.  He departed this earthly life on March 21, 2025. Nashawn was educated in the New Hanover County School System, attending E.A. Laney High School.  He furthered his education at Cape Fear Community College. Nashawn was a people person, enjoying family and friends.  He was a sneaker fanatic and really enjoyed shopping and cooking.  Nashawn was an excellent event planner.  To know him was to love him and he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. In addition to his father, Nashawn was also preceded in death by his brother, Warren Junious; his grandmother, Annie Mae Yates and his aunt, Alberta Yates. He leaves to cherish fond memories: his children, Jamari Junious, Warren Junious, Zaydon Junious and Milan Junious; his bonus children, Ricky Cobia, III and Keemora Berry; his mother, Carolyn Junious; step-mother, Manuerva Davis; sisters and brothers, Monterie Junious, Aylisha Junious, Michael Junious, Jaida Davis and Gecia Davis; aunts and uncles, Treil Edwards, Yolanda Yates, Bernard Yates and Michael Yates; special nieces and nephews, Nishayah Williams, Monterie Junious, Don Nixon and Kalese Junious;  a special friend, Angel George; very close friends, Marc Miller, Michael "Beezy" Ballard, Eugene "Smoove" Brown, Nate "Harlem" Davis, Jeffrey Reid, Averin Reid, Dre "Boog" Williams, Steve "Booda Blast" Morris, Alvin Coker, Joshua "Shack" Shackelford, Scottie "Ricky Bobby" Tilman, Shawn "Es. Dot" Parker, Bobby Gibbs, Aaron Boyer and Rodney "Slick Rod" Goodman; other relatives and friends.
