Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Friday. June 21, 2024, at Mt Nebo Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Molly Jeanette Clark, daughter of the late George Pierce and Teasie Johnson was born September 13, 1935, in Neshoba County, Mississippi. Molly, age 88, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on June 17, 2024.  She grew up in Mississippi and Philadelphia before moving to Wilmington, North Carolina at the age of 19. Jeanette loved to sew, travel, and solve crossword puzzles. Her first job in Wilmington was with Community Hospital but she eventually retired after a long career at General Electric (GE). Ms. Clark was an elder member at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Billips Family, the founding family of the church. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by son, Kenneth Clark. She is survived by: her sons, Carlton Clark (Chloe Gadson) of Kennesaw, GA, Bernard Clark of Raleigh, NC and Maurice Clark (Shirley) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Keneicy Nelson, Kenneth Clark, Whitney Jacquet (Rowan), Dakarai Clark (Jasmine), Faith Clark, Jasmine Clark, Jayden Robinson, and Jillian Blackwell; great-grandchildren, John Parker and Ace Jacquet; sister, Alicia Coates of Philadelphia, MS; niece, Jackie James of Decatur, GA; cousins, Debra Anyika and Kwame Anyika and a host of other relatives and friends.
