Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. James AME Zion Church, 27 Old Town Creek Road NE; Leland, NC 28451.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation is from 6-8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Minnie Bell Edwards was born on July 25, 1942, in Leland, North Carolina to the late Annie Bell Wright-Robinson and Joe Robinson.  She transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 82.  Minnie was united in Holy Matrimony to Moses Edwards.  This union was blessed with one daughter, Jacqueline.  As a child, Minnie received her education and graduated from the Brunswick County School System.  For many years, she was a member of St James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Leland, NC.  Minnie worked for many years at Bernie's as a fabricator and later at Corbett's Bag Factory, as a packer.  Minnie enjoyed watching soap operas and working on her crossword puzzles and books.  She loved the time spent with her family, especially her five grandchildren.  Minnie leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Jacqueline (Miles) Price; grandchildren, Terrance Edwards, Miles Price, III, and Jaquan Price; granddaughters, Tenesia Price, and Tamara Price; seven great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; sisters, Louise Burst and Shirley (Norman) Corley of Leland, NC; brothers, Samuel Robinson of New Brunswick, NJ, and Freddie Robinson of Leland, NC.  A special niece, Lucresia Merrick, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Moses Edwards, two brothers, and a great-grandson.
