Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Union Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Chapel Church Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

Mathew DeRyan Saunders, affectionately known as "Juice" was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, on November 25, 1985, to Monica and Johnny Sanders.  Matthew was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend whose impact will be deeply felt by all who knew him.  Matthew was known for his humble spirit, big heart, and remarkable sense of humor. He was someone you could always count – on compassionate, wise, and selfless. Whether lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or offering heartfelt advice, Matthew had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. He was the kind of friend who would do anything for those he loved. He was the proud owner and creator of Sanders Solutions, LLC.  He had a thriving car detailing business where his unmatched skills, and attention to detail made him stand out in his craft. Matthew had a special love for his children. He was a devoted father to his four daughters: Aliyah, Za'naya, Audrihana, and Aubrey. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with them, and he poured his love, wisdom, and laughter into every moment they shared. His legacy will live on through their lives and the love he instilled in them. He was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Rhonda Faye Bellamy. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Aliyah, Za'naya, Audrihana, and Aubrey, his loving parents, Johnny and Monica Sanders; his grandparents, Frances Bellamy "MeMa", and William and Mabel McKoy; his siblings, Marcus Sanders, Maurice Sanders, and Makyi Sanders (Donneisha); his aunts, Renee Jackson (Sharone), Cassandra Cobbs, Stacey Gibbs, Carolyn Epps (William), Michelle Buckhanon (Sammy), his uncle Amos Oneal Bellamy "Unc" and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.  A special cousin/second mom Terri McGuire, who loved him as a son, she watched, helped and nurtured him from infancy, and throughout his life. He had countless friends, and special mention, Saberna Watson, who was always there to help and guide him.
