FACE COVERINGS ARE STILL REQUIRED TO ENTER THE FUNERAL HOME

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Warner Temple AME Zion Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Our dear mother, Mary Lou White, sadly passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, covered in favor for 86 years.  She was always there for many, in a time of need.  She was well-loved in her church, community and throughout Wilmington, NC.  On December 28, 1936, Mary Lou White was born to the late Charles Allen and Mary Guess Allen.  She is survived by her four children: Darric White (Dolly) of Winston-Salem, NC, Johnnie White, Jr. (Christine), Deidra White, and Wanda White-Lewis of Wilmington, NC; one brother, Charles Allen, Jr. of Wilmington, NC; one sister, Bernice Allen of Jacksonville, FL, six grandchildren; Darrius White, Cory White, Johnnie White, III, Brandon White, Cornell White, and Ashley White, 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relative and friends.
