Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Shaw Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hooper Hill Cemetery, Leland, NC.  Visitation will be on hour prior to the funeral on Friday.  Mrs. Mary F. Hall, known as "Mae," was born on December 30, 1945.  She departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Mary Manning was born to the late Willema Williams.  Mae retired from Custom Decorating Co. located in Newark, New Jersey.  She was a beloved mother, wonderful grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister.  She was very caring, heartfelt, and loved by those she came in contact with throughout her journey.  Love is when you look into someone's eyes and see their heart, that was Mae.  Her late husband Roland Lee Hall of 49 years, great grandson Sincere Thompson, brother James Williams and sister Ruth Daye preceded her in death.  Mae leaves to cherish her loving memories, two daughters, Valerie Overby and Janeen Hall of Charlotte, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Tyrell Garnett (Ciara Wiley), Nashea Gamett, Shanowah Thompson (Montrez), Kimphany Jenkins (Shericka), and Jaheim Overby all of Charlotte, NC;  seven great grandchildren; Tyrik and Sharrod Battle, Nakiyah Garnett, Lauren Stewart, Zylia White, London Patterson, and Chozen Garnett;  six siblings; William Charles, Jerlean Mannlng, Curtis Manning, Sandra Jenkins of New Jersey, and Christine Clinton (Tommy) of Raleigh, NC, Ed Williams (Carol) of South Carolina; three sisters-in-law; Maxine Grady (John), Hattie Mosley, Lossie Bryant; three brothers-in-law; Marvin Hall (Penny), Joseph Hall and William Hall (Lucy) of North Carolina.  A special niece Myasia Williams of Columbia, SC; a special goddaughter, Rasheetah Hall (Tavell), and a special grandson-in-law, Roderick Battle, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
