Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at St. Andrew AME Zion Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mary Ruth Session Kilgore-Armwood was born in Wilmington, NC, on May 18, 1946, to the late Jacky James and Audrey Elizabeth Session.  Called to eternal rest on June 21, 2022.  Proceeded in death by sisters:  Barbara Session King Richburg and Annie Marie Session.  Survived by her husband of 32 years, Almond Armwood; two daughters, Roxanne Johns Kilgore and Rocelyn Johns Kilgore; grandchildren, Tre'Jon Dwight Kilgore, Ba'Sil Martin Allen, William Sean (Danielle) Copeland, DaVetta Mary Allen, Kahari Akim Kilgore.  great-grandchildren, Cameron Blayze Kilgore, Luna Roxanne Kilgore-Lewis, Quincy Akim Potts, Legend Le'Ore Kilgore-Lewis, Brion Allen, Caleb Allen.  stepdaughters, Annette Bates, Sharnetta (Christopher) Greenwood, Tamacia Blyther; step-grandchildren, Tyshawn Burt, Shane' Williams, Sharese Williams, Raven Dillon, Justin Dillon, Delone Hannah, and a host of other family members and friends.
