Miss Marie Wilkins, daughter of the late Maggie Wilkins and Robert Wilkins was born on July 31, 1938.  On Monday, February 17, 2025 at 6:18 PM, our dear mother Marie Wilkins sadly passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Marie lived in the Creekwood Community for many years where she started the Creekwood Drill Team that she really loved. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most. Marie had nine siblings.  Marie was a Jehovah Witness and served Jehovah for many years.  She had seven children, two of whom preceded her in death, Patricia Wilkins and Herman Dukes. She leaves to mourn: her children, Alfonza Wilkins of Colorado, Eric Wilkins (Eminet) and Queen Jones of Wilmington, NC, Jacqueline Woodson (Jarvis) of Greenville, NC, and Charles Wilkins (Sasha) of Raleigh NC; a host of grandchildren and great-grands, whom she loved unconditionally; one sister, Maryjane Lovely of Georgia, and friends.
