Malik Samuell Thompson was born January 10, 1997, in Wilmington, North Carolina to Dennis (DeRock) Todd and Eunissa Thompson. He passed on My 26, 2024.  He was a loving and caring young man that would give you the shirt off his back. Malik attended New Hanover County Schools.  He was the oldest of all his siblings. Malik loved being a "Big Brother" to his two younger brothers Dametrous and Elijah and his special little cousin Isaiah. He loved his family and friends, and they loved him too. He was raised by his loving and dedicated grandparents Rodney and Eunice Payton. He never met a stranger. In the latter days leading up to his passing he joined as a member of The House of Repentance Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather the late Acy Thompson (Wilmington); grandparents, Stella Todd and Leonard Allen (Wilmington).
