Lynee' Patrice Carter was born on April 15,1988, in Newport News, VA to Tina Smith and Jermaine Becton. She attended New Hanover County Schools. Lynee' was employed in childcare where she did what she loved, caring for children in their parents' absence. Lynee' was engaged to Keith Drakeford. She had one biological daughter Samariah Smith, and a bonus daughter Ke'ashya Drakeford. Lynee' loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a kind heart, and anytime you came near her you were sure to have a smile on your face. Lynee' met no strangers, everyone she came in contact with she treated as family. Lynee' was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Carter, Great Grandmothers Mary Earl and Mary Brown Great Grandfather Elijah Brown and more. Lynee' leaves to cherish her memories her parents Tina Carter Smith and Jermaine Becton her daughter Samariah Smith, her Fiancé Keith Drakeford and bonus daughter Ke'ashya Drakeford.
