Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at St. Phillip AME Church.  Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Louise Jones was born to John Henry Gardner and Leather Teachey Gardner on September 9, 1948, in Whiteville, North Carolina. She passed away peacefully on November 12, 2022, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare. Louise Jones was a member of St. Phillip A.M.E. Church. She was a dedicated member in the service of the Lord. She enjoyed life, family members and friends. Louise was always there to listen, to support, or simply brighten the day of others. She was planted on Earth to bloom in heaven.  She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her siblings, Dorothy, Hattie, Gladys, Lewis, Johnny and Ralph. She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Billy Gardner of Phoenix, AZ, Crystal Jones of Wilmington, NC; and Naja Hines of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special daughters, other relatives and close friends.
