On June 18, 2022, Lloyd C. James passed away peacefully in Tacoma, Washington.  Lloyd served in the U.S. Army where he committed to the Masonic Brotherhood.  He loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.  He is survived by his daughter Lakeysha (Lamar), grandson Tre' and Lloyd's siblings, Margaret, Ray, Mike, Markey, Tammy and a host of nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his long-term partner Phyllis Baker.  Lloyd spent a large part of his life in Wilmington, NC, where he started a non-profit for youth, Aljhean Williams Teens Against Violence, Inc.  He was well loved in the Wilmington area and known for his generosity and laughter.  He will truly be missed by all.
