Linda F.
Anderson
May 13, 1958 – March 10, 2026
A memorial service will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Linda Frances Anderson, 67, of Wilmington, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on March 10, 2026. She was born on May 13, 1958, in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she was also raised, and spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and her beloved community. Linda was the daughter of the late Lilly Anderson. She shared a close bond with her late sister Evelyn Williams, and together they were raised with strong family values that Linda carried with her throughout her life. For than 40 years, Linda was a faithful and devoted member of Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend James H. Nixon. Her church family meant the world to her, and she never missed an opportunity to share her love for God. Linda truly believed that with God all things are possible, and she boldly shared her testimony with anyone willing to listen. If you ever attended a service and heard someone joyfully shout "Preach Revvv"! you could be sure it was Linda, dressed beautifully from head to toe with a matching hat, praising the Word and encouraging others in faith. Linda was known throughout the community as "Aunt Linda", because she had a way of making everyone feel like family. She was funny, spontaneous, and always ready to make someone laugh. Her presence could brighten any room, and she built many lasting friendships throughout her life. Linda was also a proud and loving fur mama to her cherished pets, Bo-Danger, Sherrie, Cleopatra, and Joyi, who brought her great comfort and companionship. She had a special love for gardening, a passion she inherited from her mother and sister. Linda had a remarkable gift for bringing plants back to life. Many people brought her plants they believed were beyond saving, but with Linda's care and patience, they would soon be thriving again just as if they had never been lifeless at all. She leaves to cherish her memories to a large and loving family, including one niece, Evelyn Lofton (Bill Lofton) and their son Bryce; one nephew, Eric Williams and his children: Tristian, Anderson, and Samarie; four great nieces: Sydney and her son Kaiden; Tiffany Spicer (Chuck), Denique and her absolute favorite great niece, Shayla Williams; four great nephews: Jeremy and his children Jeremy, Jordan, Javon, and Jakei; Laron and his children Layla and Aaron; William and his daughter Valarie Rose, and Devin. There are many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her beloved church family. Linda's life was a living testimony of faith, joy, and resilience. She showed everyone around her that no matter what trials life may bring, giving your life to God can turn any situation around. Her legacy of love, laughter, faith, and encouragement will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
