Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, God looked over His flower garden and saw one of His precious flowers wilting.  He knew without a doubt that it was time to take her home.  Ms. Lillian Wilson responded to her Master's call and went home to be with her Lord. Lillian, the oldest of eight, was born on May 9, 1939, to Charlotte Wilson Freeman.  She was adopted by James and Hannah Wilson who loved and cherished her dearly. Lillian attended Chords Across America Gospel Ministries Church, in Wilmington, NC, where she praised and worshiped. She enjoyed giving to family, friends and neighbors.  She was friendly, and kind to many.  She was proceeded in death by her parents James and Hannah Wilson; daughters, Sylvia and Cynthia Wilson; son, Kenneth Wilson; and brothers, David Freeman, James Freeman, Lee Freeman, Elijah Freeman; sister, Lionell Bellamy and great-granddaughter, Armani Ross. She is survived by: three loving children:  Ronetta Davis (Julian) of Leland, NC; Frances Wilson of Castle Hayne, NC and Timothy Wilson (Gwendolyn) of Leland, NC; one brother, Mack Freeman (Wilhelmina) and one sister, Rosanell Smith both of Whiteville, NC; five grandchildren: Theo Wilson, Charise Wilson, Jonathan Simpson, Timothy Wilson and Shytonia Williams; six great-grandchildren: Kyshaun Flowers, Tynesha Holmes, Niquasia Simpson, Jada Simpson, Jonathan Simpson and Khloe Simpson; and one special great, great-grandson, Taylin Nixon (the joy of her day); five bonus grandchildren; two special cousins, Lucille Burst and Harriet Rivers; a host of other relatives and friends.
