Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Macedonia FBH Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Reflection of Life
At the beginning of the day, as a dutiful parent would begin rounding up their children, so does GOD. On Thursday, M ay 21, 2026, as GOD began calling his children home, GOD called our beloved, Lawrence “Larry” Kevin Brown home. Lawrence “Larry” Kevin Brown was born M arch 23, 1957 to Albert and Edith Brown, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is one son, Dewayne Kennedy and four siblings: Dennis Brown, Brenda Vereen, Valarie Conner and Yvonne Doe. He was a member of Greater M acedonia FBH Church. He was educated in the Horry County School System. He was employed with Wal-Mart for approximately 12 years. His favorite career/ hobby was being DJ Gran Master; he spun records for many years and desired to regain his health and strength to return to being a DJ. Remembering and cherishing his memories are his wife, Vanessa Brown of the home. One daughter, Shalonda Brown-Mcmillion (Lymus) of Lumberton, NC. Three sons: Christopher Luddley of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lawrence McDonald of Conway, SC and Kinwan Long of the home. Twenty-four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Two uncles: Albert Williams (Geraldine) of the home and Michael Cox of Conway, SC. One aunt, Patricia Williams of Fayetteville, NC. Six siblings: Alfreda Greene of Winona, M N, Yvette Gore (Robert) of the home, Tyrone Brown of the home, Albert Brown Jr. (Cindy) of the home, Hollis Brown (Mae) of the home and Barbara Brown of the home. Three sisters-in-law: Doris Hamilton of Norfolk, VA, Shirley Frazier (Bernard) of Augusta, GA, and Barbara Henry of Boiling Green, VA. Three Brothers-in-law: Willie Covington of New Haven, CT, Loucious Covington of Sumter, SC and John Doe of the home along with a host of other family members and friends. One special friend of many years, Gilbert Wallace.
