Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at The Purpose Church International; 920 North 6th Street.  Burial will follow in the Moores Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.  Larry Demarco Brown entered eternal rest on December 26, 2023, in Wilmington, NC.  Larry was born on May 2, 1999, in Detroit, MI to Cynthia Brown and Larry Price.  Larry graduated from Thomas Academy High School (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in 2017.  After graduation, he began to arrange his life for the arrival of his only daughter, Peyton Amira Brown.  She became the main reason he strived to be the best father he could be.  He attended Cape Fear Community College to pursue his passion in Art.  Larry designed his brand R.U.S.H in hopes of starting his own clothing line for his daughter.  Sadly, that dream was abruptly interrupted by senseless violence.  Larry was an outgoing soul who loved to do things the fast way.  He was never short of ideas or ways to express himself through his music and art.  His brand R.U.S.H, which stands for "Running Up Some Hundos", told his story and his creative language, and it will live on through his daughter.  Larry always managed to keep a smile on his face, despite everything that was going on around him.  His goofy laugh was infectious and inviting to everyone he came across.  He will be truly missed.  Larry was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ezra Brown Sr, and his sister Malaiyah Price.  His memories will be forever cherished by his parents; Cynthia Brown (Wilmington, NC), Larry Price and spouse (Arlington, TX); his daughter Peyton Brown; his significant other Mackenzie Brackin, sisters; Tarise Brown (Columbia, SC) and Tamayra Price (Wilmington, NC), brothers; Jervis Brown (Wilmington, NC) and Demarco Price (Arlington, TX, nephews; Dourian, ZaQuon, Jervis Jr., TayVion, Ezra, JaMez, Donovan, and JaMir Brown, niece; A 'Jahnae Brown, grandmothers; Geneva Brown (Columbia, SC) Wilda McCauley and spouse (Shreveport, LA), grandfather Larry Wallace and spouse (Arkansas), great grandmother Lola Adaway, aunts; Sharon Hill and Valerie Jackson (Detroit, MI), Yvonne Sidberry and spouse (Hamstead, NC), Patricia Harris (Columbia, SC), Sylvia and Whitney Thurmond (Shreveport, LA), Sha'Nice and Shenelle Wallace, uncles; Reginald Brown (Detroit, MI) and Clyde Price (Shreveport, LA), devoted cousin LaShonda Teague (Wilmington, NC), special family friends; Alicia Kennedy and Larissa Green-Murray, as well as a host of cousins, and friends
