A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel.

On January 9, 2023, early in the morning, God sent an angel to quietly take Kim away.  Kimberly Moore (Byrd), the daughter of the late Cardell A. Moore, Sr., and Loretta Jordan.  Kimberly attended school in New Hanover County.

Kim worked several jobs including working as a Personal Care Assistant.  She loved cooking, entertaining family and friends, and going to the beach.

She leaves to cherish her memories six children:  Raquish, Wilbert Rakim, Tupac S. Brown, Kyniah D. Dockery, Zion Hubbard, Karmini J. Moore all of Wilmington, North Carolina.  Two grandchildren; Cameron Brown and Teyana Brown.  Her mother, Loretta Jordan of Wilmington, NC; a sister, Sharon R. Moore of Supply, NC; brother, Cardell A. (Yolanda) Moore, Jr. of Katy, Texas; and her twin, Kevin (Carol) Moore of Atlanta, Georgia.  Special Aunt Pertina M. Graham, and a special friend, Crystal Wheeler and LaToya Mack.  Kimberly also leaves to cherish her memories a host of relatives, friends, aunts, and uncles.
