Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church; 719 Walnut Street.  Burial will follow in the Sidberry Cemetery, Rocky Point, NC.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, God in His Infinite Wisdom saw that His bouquet was missing a beautiful rose and reached His heavenly hand toward earth and brought His beloved Joseph H. Sidberry from labor to rest. Our beloved closed his eyes, quieted his pain and ascended into a beautiful place. Today, we celebrate the infinite love and compassion he shared throughout his workplace and throughout life.  Joseph H. Sidberry was born to the late Sally Sidberry and Joseph Hansley of Pender County, North Carolina. LET NO man Write My Epitaph But if you want to say something, say that I was a servant leader for my Lord.  Say that my mission was to help others and be that beacon of light that offered hope and encouragement. Or just remember that DASH (-) between May 10, 1937 and September 29, 2022.  In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his mother and father, Brothers: Joseph, Henry, and Joe and sister Connie.  Joseph's beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of his daughter, Stephanie of NC; sisters, Carolyn Stewart and Jacquelyn Way of Philadelphia and Demetra (Edward) of NC; brothers, Amos (Gwen) of VA, William, Wilbert (Annie) and Kenneth (Sonya) all of NC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
