Mr. Johnnie Edward Williams, Jr. also known as "Baby Brother" and better known as "Bay Brah", was born June 8, 1957, in Wilmington, NC, to Johnnie Edward, Sr. and Mildred (Harris) Williams. He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred, father Johnnie, Sr., sisters Wanda and Jacqueline Perkins, and daughter Ebony Williams. He attended John T. Hoggard High School in Wilmington, NC. Carpentry was a major part of Johnnie's life. He was well known for being extremely skilled and precise in his work. Later in life, "Bay Bruh" found himself in the role as a bus driver for New Hanover County Schools, where he fell in love with this career. He was only one school year away from retiring. Johnnie was very passionate about his job, and never hesitated to speak up for himself, and his coworkers in meetings. Johnnie was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and enjoyed watching football during football season, especially his annual tradition of eating lots of food. He enjoyed watching the Super Bowl with his son-in-law, daughter, and granddaughter at their home. He had an immense love for family, friends, his school kids, carpentry, cars, and life. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Monck (Mario) Watson and Tshema Montrie Williams; grandchildren, Alexandria Williams, Austin Williams, and Avery Watson; sisters, Carolyn Bellamy, Gwendolyn Perkins, and Debora Williams; brothers, James and Donald Perkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends.
