John Calvin Jacobs, son of the late Lukea and Willie Milderd Jacobs was born on August 13, 1945.  On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, he was called home to be with the Lord. John Calvin will be greatly missed.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Jacobs; two brothers, William Jacobs and James Jacobs and two sisters, Carolyn Jones and Debbie Slater. John Calvin leaves to cherish fond memories: his sister, Clarise Johnson (Harrison) of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Lukea Jacobs (Shirley) of Charlotte, NC, Lorenza Jacobs (Burnice) and Nathaniel "Ronnie" Jacobs all of Wilmington, NC; friends who nursed him back to health, Mary, Seymore, Chris, and Kelvin all of Philadelphia, PA; a host of cousins and friends.
