A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Shaw Funeral Home. Jeffrey George Jones entered the world on September 26, 1954, as the son of Mena and George Jones, at Kings County Hospital. Growing up in Queens, New York, he completed his education at Martin Van Buren High School.  Following graduation, Jeffrey found his calling driving school buses, which eventually led him to a successful career as a truck driver.  Jeffrey was also one with a great sense of humor, he could recall any joke that he knew would bring a smile to someone's face. On August 15, 1982, Jeffrey welcomed his daughter, Camille Jones, into the world, bringing him immense joy and pride.  In 2002, he exchanged vows with Carol Bracey Jones, creating a loving partnership that endured through the years.  Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Carol, his daughter, Camille, and six sisters; Barbara, Corrine, Yvonne, Annie, Frances, and Linda - along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. Although he is no longer present among us, Jeffrey has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him, he will be forever remembered for his humor, warmth, and love.
