Graveside service will be 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Monday.

James Empie Lowe, Jr. "Jimmy", was born to the late James Empie Lowe and Evelyn Cooper Lowe on April 26, 1948.  He departed this life on February 24, 2022. Jimmy traveled many years with his job as an underground utility technician and while residing in Indiana, he joined the Church of God.  After retiring, he returned home to be with family. He the outdoors, fishing, hunting, dancing and having fun with family and friends. In addition to his parents Jimmy was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dora Farrow, Carolyn Irving, Maggie Bryant, and Evelyn Lofton; his brothers, Thurman Lowe and Ronald Lowe; and his wives, Hattie Lowe of Florida and Mary Lowe of Indiana.  Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory: leaves two children from his first union with Marion Walker, Pamela Mitchell (Carl) of Chesapeake, VA and Troy Walker of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Rev. David P. Lowe (Sandra) of Bahama, NC; a host of beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
