Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Pollock Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Saturday.

James W. Williams, Jr., was born in Wilmington, NC to Rita and James Williams, along side a baby girl his twin Jessica Williams (Brian Wade).  Awaiting grandparents Pearline Greene and Kenneth Chamberlain, Sr., Mary Williams, and Harlee R. Williams.

James attended school in New Hanover County, graduated and had several trades and hobbies.  He was welcomed by his siblings; three brothers, Kenneth Greene, Derrick Greene, and Anthony Greene.  James was blessed with a bonus mother Teresa Ragin and Grandmother Anna Ragin.  In addition to the bonus mother, he received more siblings, Teesha Ragin, Charles Greene, Quintella Hardy and George Hardy.  You can never have to much love, and James was also blessed with a second Father Darnell Allen, grandparents Mattie Allen-Shaw and the late Melvin Dinkins, another brother Kevin and five sisters, Mya Mattie Aydrian Destiny, and Tanya.  Unfortunately, James never fathered his own kids, but his niece Jaliza Wade is for sure his daughter.  James also had nephews that were like sons, Damel Wade, Jaquarius Simpson, Jovan Wade and Royal Ragin, with a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, grandparents, and cousins.

Though he has left us behind, please remember he's never to far.  James had many friends, and he was loved by so many. He loved to joke and laugh, and he had a smile we will never forget.
