A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Shaw Funeral Home.

Jakirha Monyet Keith was the daughter of the late Geraldine "Sissy' Keith and Larry D. Walker. Early Wednesday morning, the angels of the Lord called her home to rest at Novant Medical Center. Preceding her in death was a very special cousin, Dominique Evans. Jakirha was educated in the New Hanover County Schools. She loved to dance, and to be surrounded by family and friends. She loved her nieces and nephews just like they were her own kids. She leaves to cherish her memories: her two daughters, J' Mya Mone't Keith and J e' Kera My 'Angel Saiku Keith; one son, Jeri' Mya Montez Keith; a special granddaughter Laila Keith, all of the home; her father, Larry DeWayne Walker of Smithfield, NC; a very special grandmother, whom she loved dearly, Ms. Geraldine Smith of Wilmington, NC; four siblings, Terriq Keith of Wilmington, NC, Asia-La'Rae Walker of Greensboro, NC; Kameron Walker and Kailah Farrington both of Durham, NC; two uncles, Harry Keith of Edenton, NC and Travia Keith of Wilmington, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.
