Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Henry leaves to cherish very fond memories: his loving wife and caretaker of 15 years, Fonda Williams; three daughters; Eboni (Trey) Crumpler of Charlotte, NC, Shamel Brown and Shanequa Brown of Wilmington, NC; one son, Cedric Batts of Wilmington, NC; eight grandchildren: Jasiah Stone, Maurice Neal, Jaleah Stone, Skylar Crumpler, Antonio Harris, Ayce Harris, Journey Wilson, and Kali Harris; one sister, Angela Gore of Durham, NC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Franklin and Deborah Nixon of Wilmington, NC; three sisters-in-law, Dalphane Nixon of  Greensboro, NC, Latrell Nixon of Wilmington, NC and Tameeka (Curtis) Martin of Greensboro, NC; five aunts, Maxie Sinkler and Beverly Anne Mays of Adele, GA, Betty Murphy, Rosalind Marshall and Rhonda Karen (Lamont) Weems of Wilmington, NC; four uncles, McKinnley "Sonny" Mays (Shirley) of Adele, GA, Derrick "Ray" Marshall and Rangiloe Marshall of Wilmington, NC and Arkbar Hasan of Durham, NC; special friend and brother, Kenneth Sneed of Leland, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many, friends, including ILA Local 1426 and "The Bull Gang".
