Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Calvary Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5:30-8:00 P.M. Thursday.

Mrs. Hazel Lennon Caldwell departed this earthly life quietly and peacefully on Friday morning, February 18, 2022, at home in Dallas, Georgia.  Hazel was born the tenth child to the late Wannie Harrison Lennon and Elizabeth Gowens Lennon on August 10, 1930.  Hazel was educated in the Columbus County School System.  She was a member of First Baptist Missionary Church in Wilmington, North Carolina. Hazel was united in marriage to Junius Caldwell who preceded her in death.  In addition to her parents and husband, Hazel was also preceded in death by her son, Tyrone Julian Caldwell; her brothers, Charlie, Duval, T.S. and Walter and her sisters, Blanche, Louise, Bernice, Vivian and Gertrude.  She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Louise Davenport of Dallas, GA; her son, Terry Caldwell of Philadelphia, PA; one granddaughter, Terica Jazmine Daniel; one grandson, Karon Terry Caldwell; one brother, Herman Lennon of Ohio; one sister, Alma Lacy of Williamstown, NJ; a special niece and great-nephew, Loretta Bradley Murphy and Kendric Murphy; a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
