Graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Brown Batts Cemetery in Hampstead.  Visitation will be 5:30 - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday.

Mr. Harold Hill, son of the late Joe and Carolyn Hill was born August 17, 1962.  He slipped quickly into eternal rest on February 22, 2022.   He was married to the love of this life, the late Annie D. Hill.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe L. Hill, Jr.  He was educated in New Hanover County School System and graduated from Laney High School in 1981.  He was affectionately known as "Al" to some and "Man" to others.  He was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He enjoyed working at Rippy Cadillac, as a mechanic for many years.  He also enjoyed hanging out with the Rock Hill Boys, but most of all he loved his family and watching the Dallas Cowboys.  He was a born-again Christian.  During his brief illness, he never complained, for he knew he was in God's hands.  He leaves to cherish his memories:  two daughters; Katana Jones and Alisha Jacobs of Wilmington, NC, one sister; Wanda Hill-Wells of Wilmington, NC; two granddaughters, Annisha and Aaliyah; four grandsons; Deandre, Darren, Davion and Elija all of the home; five aunts, Katie McQueen (Philadelphia, PA), Ross Taylor (George) of Hampton, VA, Susie Mason (Steve) of Beltsville, Md., Beatrice Kellam of Wilmington, NC, and Carolyn Brunson of Raleigh, NC; one nephew, Demetrius Hill, two nieces, Keyana Brown, Renatatae (Dyrelle) LeGrende, Godmother, Barbara Gaines; special friends:  LaShebae Reaves, Gregory Hill, Jesse Bragg, Brian Kupko, Dennis Hill, Lawrence Gaines, Jr., Terry Grady, his Rippy Auomotive Family.  His heart also belonged to A'miyah Reaves and Justice, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and others.
