Hal (Harold) Stewart Randolph, devoted husband, father, beloved brother, grandfather, and friend departed this life on September 14, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born on April 19, 1949, to the late James (Pete) and Floria Randolph of Bolivia, North Carolina. Harold built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family and friends. Harold attended Brunswick County Training School. In the graduating class of 1969, he was in the last all black class. He was a hard worker and was respected and admired by colleagues until his retirement. If you were lucky enough, you could sit on the front porch with him, sharing great laughter, while "shooting the breeze". Harold was a devoted family man. Deeply committed to his wife of 56 years, Nida Mae Frink Randolph; his daughter, Vickie Ann Randolph-Ross who was the apple of his eye (husband Richard); his two grandsons, Thomas Matthew Randolph (Jessica), Nicolas Niles Stewart Randolph (Tabitha); granddaughter, Kennedy Nicole Ross; three greatgrandchildren, Kourtney Mariah Wiggins, Aidyn Ezekiel Nile Randolph, and Autumn Joy Rena Randolph. His legacy of compassion, wisdom, and humor will live on through all of those whose lives he touched. In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by ten siblings: Robert Earl Randolph, LeRoy Randolph, Levy Randolph, William Ann Randolph, Dora Randolph, Janie Randolph, James Tracy Randolph, Annie Ruth Williams, Willie Mae Waddell, and Rosa Randolph Moore. Harold also leaves to cherish his memory: brother and best friend, Arthur Randolph; brother, David Randolph (Della) of Greensboro, NC; sisters, Dorothy Walker (Alton) of Georgetown, FL, Margie Randolph of Philadelphia, PA, Shirley Cartwright (Tyrone) of Kernersville, NC, and Angela Lane (Willie) of Greensboro, NC; 2 godchildren, Tammy Freeman of Salisbury, NC and Keith Hill of Ash, NC, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Harold will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
