Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.  George Ellis Jr. was born July 27, 1964, to the late Wygenia B. and George Ellis, Sr.  George was affectionately known as "Chicken" or "Pete" to his friends, he entered eternal rest on April 12, 2024.  George had a reputation and was known as a "jack of all trades".  He possessed many skills, having worked at the Pepsi plant, to being a licensed electrician.  George attended John T. Hoggard High School and later continued his education through the Job Corps where he achieved his diploma.  George is preceded in death by two brothers, Dwight Bullock, and Michael Ellis.  He leaves to cherish his memory:  Son George Ellis Hardy; Daughters Quintella Hardy and Teesha Ragin; Grandchildren; Anthony Hardy, Trinity Hardy, Sevyn Hardy, and Royal Ragin; Sisters, Antoinette Ellis, and Keisha Dixon; Brothers, Kelvin Ellis and Albert Ellis;  Girlfriend of many years Ursula Baldwin, and a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
