Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Union Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Pollock Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:30 pm Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the funeral home.

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Frederick McIntyre, Jr., aka "Bubba" entered into eternal rest at the age of 42.  "Bubba" was born on May 20, 1982, in Wilmington, North Carolina to Thelma Pierce McIntyre and Frederick McIntyre, Sr.  Bubba was raised in the Scotts Hill Community and Wilmington, North Carolina.  He was educated in the New Hanover County Public School System, graduating from EA Laney High School.  At the time of his passing, he was employed with Port City United.  Bubba was also an active coach with Coastal Pop Warner.  His current team was Wilmington Lions United.  Frederick Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Sr. and his brother, Delvin McIntyre.  Being a loving and devoted father son, brother and friend, Frederick Jr, aka "Bubba" leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Delvin McIntyre; his daughters, D'Zarie McIntyre, Dakota Green and Dalila Pigott; his mother, Thelma McIntyre; his sister, Squitia Pierce; grandfather, James Pierce; aunts, Cassandra Pierce, Nancy Pierce, Sylvia Williams, Darlene (Julian) Fulton, Dr. Elizabeth McIntyre Arthur, April Hansley, Lesa Hansley, Doretha McIntyre, Doris (Theodore) Pierce and Christie (Brendo) Pierce; niece, Taylor Pierce; cousins/aunts, Peggy Lockett and Cynthia McIntyre; his loving girlfriend, Patrika Parker and their unborn son; great-aunts and great-uncles, Mary McIntyre and Robert (Francine) Pierce, Alvin (Margaret) Nixon and Willamina Nixon; a host of cousins, best friends who were more like brothers and sisters, friends, coworkers and his community.
