Fannie B.
Miller
October 29, 1953 – April 25, 2026
A memorial service will be held 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at John H. Shaw's Son Funeral Home.
Fannie B. Hutchens Miller, lovingly known as "Faye," was born on October 29, 1953, to the late Gennie Hutchens Fox in Yadkin County, North Carolina. She passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. In the years leading up to her passing, Faye developed a deep and personal relationship with her Lord and Savior. She found comfort in the community at St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church. Although she was not a formal member, the congregation embraced her as family, a reflection of the warmth she so freely offered others. Faye's life was not an easy one. Growing up on a mountain farm with her four siblings, she learned the value of hard work early, spending her childhood days picking tobacco. Those humble beginnings shaped her into a woman of extraordinary compassion. As an adult, she made it her mission to help anyone in need—often giving even when she had little to spare. She wore her heart on her sleeve and believed wholeheartedly in the goodness of people, often saying, "There's still good in everyone". Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. Faye's daughters were her pride and her purpose, and she made countless sacrifices to ensure their well-being. She never missed an opportunity to tell them how proud she was or how deeply she loved them. Her grace, mercy, and boundless love were constant in their lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity carried on by her daughters, Charity Hutchens and Fallone Hutchens; granddaughters, Olivia Randolph and Mah'Ryah Wooten; and great-grandchildren, Camilla and Kaenan. Faye's life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, and forever cherished.
