Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Mt. Olive AME Church.  Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Parting this life can be of sweet sorrow.  So, it was during the morning of April 30, 2024, when our loved one, Evelyn Brown Smith, took earthy leave.  We humbly bow in submission to the will of our Father who is too wise to err and to just to do wrong.  Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sandra (Earl) Sheridan and Carolyn Johnson; granddaughter, Monica (Bryan) Lightfoot; great-granddaughter, Madison, Morgan, and Madelyn Lightfoot; niece, Delores M. Foreman; nephew, Harvey Mckoy; niece, Marie Brown; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred, and Elizabeth Faison Brown and her sibling, Alfred Brown, Jr., Adelaide B. McCoy, Mary Elizabeth Burns, Carl E. Brown, James H. Brown, Florence L. Brown and Earl T. Brown.
