Eva G. Nichols, 74, of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. She was born on June 20, 1951, in Orrum, North Carolina, to the late Howard and Mable Graham. Eva grew up in East Arcadia, NC, and spent most of her life in Wilmington, where she built a loving home and lasting friendships. Eva was the devoted wife of Danny Nichols and a proud mother of four children: Christopher Graham, Leonard Alexander Harris, Jason Lamont Harris, and Crystal Lea Escoffery.  She was also a cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Jamie Pierce, Rebecca Pierce, Kaleb Harris, Domonic Harris, Cheyenne Harris, Alyssa Harris, Riek & Demaria, Kadashia Miller, Jaitori Felder, Alliyah Escoffery, Laila Escoffery, and Jordan Escoffery.  She is survived by her siblings Carolyn McNeil (Ellis), Frankie Dixon (Wanda), Randy Graham, and Johnny Graham. Eva is preceded in death by her mother and father Howard E. Graham (Big Pete) and Mabel Bullard Graham and her siblings Elroy Graham, Wilbur Graham, Margaret Graham, Reatha Mitchell, and Donna Graham, Eva will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and her unwavering love for her family.  She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and faith that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.  Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, laughter, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
