Funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Willie L. Shaw Jr. Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service on Wednesday.

Elijah "Tut" Frost, son of the late Louis and Maggie Frost, was born on March 4, 1944. He transitioned on July 14, 2023, at home.  Elijah attended Williston Senior High School. After leaving high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country for four years. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he relocated to Newark, New Jersey.  In New Jersey he met and married Mary Emma Frost and into this union two children were born. He attended Global Rivers Church where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.  In addition to his parents, "Tut" was also preceded in death   by his wife, Mary Emma Frost.   "Tut" is survived by his two children, Elijah Frost and Kesha    Frost both of Newark, NJ; three step-sons, Tyrone Copeland (Lisa), Herbert Copeland and Juan Copeland all of Wilmington, NC; two step-daughters, Deborah Hutcher, and Cassandra Jordan both of Wilmington, NC; three granddaughters, Kenya Frost of Jersey City, NJ, Kala Frost of East Orange, NJ and Taylor Wigfall of Wilmington, NC; four brothers, Lawrence Frost, Henry Frost and Earl Frost all of Wilmington, NC and James Frost (Patricia) of Trenton, NJ; two sisters, Mary Thomas of Wilmington, NC and Barbara Frost of Seattle Washington; four nephews, Lawrence Frost (Patricia) of Raleigh, NC, Tracey Frost (Kelly) of Charleston, SC and Adrian Thomas (Theresa) and Jarra Frost all of  Wilmington, NC; sister-in-law, Angela Jenkins of Leland, NC; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Jenkins and James Jenkins both  of Newark, NJ; a host of other relatives and friends.
