Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2929 Princess Place Drive. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation is from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday.
Don'tae DeCharIes Nixon was born January 25, 1993, to Eunece Nixon and Alender Session. His eternal spirit returned home on December 3, 2024. He was preceded in death by his loving Grandmothers, Gwendolyn Nixon (Maternal) and Annie Marie Session (Paternal). Don'tae was educated in the New Hanover County School System, graduating from E.A. Laney High School, Class of 2012. Don'tae leaves behind to cherish his memory: His mother, Eunece Nixon, his father, Alender Session. His Grandfather, Bishop Charles R. Walters Sr. (Patricia) His sisters, Quentera Ballard and Ahlexis Session. Nephew, Ja'Maree Ballard. Aunts: Crystal McManus, Natasha McManus, Arnetta Farrington, Adriena Session and Aretha Session. Grandaunts: Annie Snead, Catherine Cooper, Dentral Boykin, Carolyn Nixon, Faye McKoy and Evelyn Adger. Uncles: Clifton Huff (Shirley), Charles Walters Jr., and Andre Session Godfather, Richard L. Nixon and Godmother, Deb Simpson. Godsisters, Shakira Bragg and KaTeaya Boykin. He also leaves behind an innumerable amount of family and friends. He will be remembered forever and greatly missed.
