She attended Brunswick Public school, graduating from Lincoln High in the class of 1967.  She attended Job Corps in St Louis, Missouri and completed her education at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, NC.  She began her career as a Registered Nurse at New Hanover Regional Medical Center where she devoted many years as a Psychiatric Nurse at the OAKS.  She continued to touch the lives of so many. Church, where she served diligently in several capacities, to name a few; President of Local Lay Council at Bethel, Superintendent of Sunday School at Bethel as well as District Superintendent of Sunday School and Missionary Department.  She was also a class leader. Dizziane was preceded in death by many that she loved: her husband Earlen Zinnerman, one daughter Katrainer Brown, two brothers Broderick Corbett and Brian Pellom; one grandchild, Jeremy Tilghman, her best friend Clara Cassimere, and a very special sister-in-law, Anita Shipman.
