Dexter Mack was born on January 25, 1959 to the late Barney and Ernestine Mack of Wilmington, North Carolina. On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Novant-New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, North Carolina. God in His infinite wisdom saw fit to call our precious loved one home to rest.  Dexter was educated in the New Hanover County Public School System.  He loved sports, dancing and fishing.  Dexter was the life of the party.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  He was preceded I death by his brother, Billy Mack Hooper. Dexter leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Antonio Core; five brothers, Ernest Mack (Patricia) and Dana Lee Mack all of Wilmington, NC, Dennis Mack (Frances) of Baltimore, MD, Rev. Ivan Mack (Lisza) of LaGrange, GA and Leroy Mack (Daira) of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
